Here is the casting number from the heads on my Chevelle:

I know it looks like I have an extra 4 on the end there, but that's what's on there.
I've got some heads on my old truck that isn't really being driven anymore since my wreck. I know it's a truck motor, and '94, but here's the casting number: 14102193.
I think it would be fun to take these off and port them and stuff for fun so I can kind of learn on them, and not screw up some 186's or new aftermarkets and such. I was wondering if anyone knows anything else about these heads other than what Mortec says? Surely they're a bit more technologically advanced than the ones on my Chevelle from '71? They're not that great since noone is after them, but are the combustion chambers smaller and do they flow better? Even worth messing with a head swap? Thanks.
