Whats your favorite brand of hydraulic flat tappet lifters or does it really matter what they are branded? btw, the cam is a UD cam with .550/.575 lift. They are sold under many different brands names including Comp and others. 817's, without the R, are standard duty lifters. The "R's" are a heavy duty, high rev, anti-pump-up lifter with a heavy duty retaining clip (not a little wire retainer). You can preload them like a regular lifter or run them with .001-.002" lash for high rpm use. Comp sells the same lifer under their Pro-Magnum name for some $50 more. | ||
