Just trying to figure out what I can get out of this if I can find an interseted party. It's a 1978 Chevelle Malibu that's basically body and frame. Has taillights, upper/lower A Arms, tie rods, and a few other front end componants as well. Some rust, not much. Will provide pictures tomorrow, but trying to get a basic idea on whether or not it's worth more as $190/ton.

It's a Malibu, Not a Chevelle BTW. 190 a ton is pretty good. Might be able to save anything good (doors, interior panels, ect.) and scrap the rest.

Those malibus are popular as drag cars. Depends how much is there and condition.

If it's got a title, rear end, and glass you could easily get $500 out of it as long as it's a 2 dr. Would make a great drag car for someone.

Has rear glass, no rear end. :( It was a parts car for Grandpa's El Camino SS and he ended up with a Harley and is selling the El Camino.
EDIT: Around here, best I can find is $190/ton. Got an 84 Silverado and 94 Grand Am heading to the scrapyard tomorrow. I think the '78 Malibu is following them soon.
