Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.
When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive..
It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.
Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news........an 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself......against two murderous, illegal immigrants......and she wins, she is still alive..
Now that is Gun Control !

I posted this in CE a while ago. It sounded like it could be possible.

Gun control means hitting what you aim at.

Don't take anything from these so called urban legend "snipers" as being right or truthful. I've already shown Snopes as being false at least once, and I've shown Wikipedia to be quite full of it on several occasions.

Wikipedia is really bad in that any idiot anywhere can upload their rubbish on that site without any supporting data, or verification conducted. There's even been some incidents of slander going on there.

Do your own research and adhere to logic.

There was a story in the news a few years ago in which a six year old boy saved his mother from a rapist. I believe it took place in New Mexico. Dad was at work and mom and the little boy were at home when a would be rapist broke in and attempted to sexually assault the mother. The boy grabbed a 30-30 and pointed it at the attacker. The thug said something to the effect that if the kid didn't put the rifle down, he'd take it away and use it beat him with. At that point, the six year old didn't say a word, he just cocked the hammer. The attacker left the home at that point.

Nothing is absolute. Unless you were there, who's to say what happened. Myth-busters said it was impossible to flip a car end over end with a broken front u-joint. Tell that to my friend Shawn who poll vaulted his 69 SS Nova end over end 4-5 times while going for third. It CAN happen.

I'll say this, if it ever happens in my house it'll go something like this:


"Yesterday a would be thief attempted to break into the home of prior military, Alan Fenstermaker. The aasaillent caught Mr. Fenstermaker in a bad mood when he broke in. Mr. Fenstermaker shot him twice in the chest and once in the head with a 30-30 rifle. Still fearing for his life, he reached for his AR15 and emptied an entire 30 round magazine into his chest, and all of his joints. Fearing for retaliation from the assaillents family, He then hunted them down and killed all the members of his immediate family along with two aunts, one uncle and four cousins. Mr. Fenstermaker is now resting comfortably in the state mental health clinic."
