Only a couple more things to do before the running gear is sent back to the body shop for the completion. Get power steering lines modified, Add Fuel Line and parking brake cable.

Would like to get as much done while the body is off the frame. Don't have a lift in my garage...

Looks awesome. I was wanting to go that route with my 70. I have also been thinking E85 4.3 twin turbo. I would be interested to see a picture of what you had to do to the frame where the AC compressor is.

The picture shows just enough clearance. I actually cut about 1.5" more out just to make sure I can get the manifold for the AC compressor lines in that space.

I wanted the stock accesories and not a super expensive aftermarket setup. I bit the bullet and cut the frame. This is one reason I am glad I don't have and SS, however even if I did I would still be doing the same thing.

I am not a numbers matching/purist type of guy. However this car will be a SS clone 396 tribute car. From the outside no one will be able to tell the difference from a genuine SS. I am retaining the sweep malibu dash because that is what was in the car in high school and I like it/ am used to it.
