does anyone know if GM still sells this or anyone has something similar? this is the clip that attaches the 3 foot rear drum parking brake cable to the frame.

PS~ I have all my parking brakes off and the cable is very slack (actually just laying on the floor), yet I can only get my foot brake to click once. I push as hard as I can and get nothing else. Anyone else run into this issue? I'm sure something is rusted, but I thought maybe someone had some experience here.

Hey Randy,
Go to the web site for Inline Tube and they can help you out. I have purchased from them and they are great.

Marc :beers:

Thanks for the suggestion. so has anyone else ever had issues getting their parking brake to move even with the cable just laying on the ground? I'm guessing something is jammed between the firewall and were the flexible line leaves the shield about a foot from the frame. This car was undercoated once and I'm wondering if that could be causing me issues.

Hey Randy,
That front cable that hooks to the pedal inside may be frozen. That cable is also available from Inline Tube. I replaced that one too and it is not bad when following their directions.
Good luck,

Marc
