Has anyone sent out their quarter glass chrome for replating? If so who did them and what was the cost?

I just sent back a set of reproduction moldings for my 72, which of course, did not fit. They were not curved enough, although the chrome plating was very nice. So I guess I'll end up sending the originals out for plating.

any goods chrome shop can do them..I have sent a few out and have had good results..and your right..repros dont fit the contour of the glass..ask me how I know :D

I had my complete vent wing assemblys and quarter glass chrome done back in the winter for my 67. The cost was $375.00. It was done by a place in Dayton Ohio called Metalbrite. They done an excellent job.

It still amazes me how they can't reproduce this part that fits. :confused:
