I am starting to figure on a cooling system for a '69 Chevelle with a 650 H.P. 496 to be driven on the street only.I live in Mississippi so it is 95-100 degrees in the summer. I was thinking of using an electric water pump such as Aerospace Components or C.S.I. or some other 33-50 G.P.H. pump. I have read on this forum that an electric pump will not cool a 650 horse motor on the street. Let me know what some of you think on this subject. Thanks for the input.
