I am running a Lunati BM II 292/.480 at 107 ica in a 355 with stock Sportsman II heads, RPM intake, 10.5:1 comp, th350 with a 10" converter and 4.30 gears with a 28" slick. The car weighs about 3300 with me in it. Is 107 the best place for this cam or should I move it?

A while back, you recommended a solid lift flat tappit for this same combo but I have misplaced the part number. The only change I would be willing to make would be shimming valve springs and I want something thats easy on parts. I only run 1/8 mile. Could you give me another recommendation?

Marty,

Leave that Lunati at the 107 ICA, it will help it give a good launch.
I faintly remember the cam we spoke of was either the 272/282F12, or the 276/284F10. Although the 272/282F is the easier cam, it's a moot point in that both of them will wear out the rings before they wear out the springs.....LOL!!
With your 10" converter and 4.30 gears, you can run the 276/284F10, or even a F8 for even better performance. I'll try to post the .020 timing events tomorrow, because I know you use Pat's DCR calculator....
