whats the deal? high quality 2 and 3 piece wheels for a great price and unheard of build time. these arent your dads off the shelf TT2's, each set is made to your specs. most sizes fit the protouring theme (big wheels to clear big brakes and so on), so you traditionalists may not like them. if you want to set your car apart call jon at driverzinc.

I don't see any prices? How much? Or is this one of those if you have to ask things?

I hate it when someone joins a forum and then jumps on to talk about themselves but David started a thread about us, so I just wanted to come on and introduce myself and our company without stepping on the toes of Team Chevelle and their vendors but based on today's response, maybe we should be a vendor. Thanks everyone!

I've been designing hot rods and show cars for over 10 years and that naturally progressed into starting my own line of wheels last year. Since I specialize in high end pro-touring style musclecars, that's what I designed my wheels for. They're not your average retro five spoke because I think that's been covered. We set out to do something that would make a car stand out and think we've achieved it and have the client's cars to prove it along with 5 magazine covers this year alone.

As stated, the site is getting revamped as we speak but all 12 of our designs are up on www.DriverzInc.com/rushforth.html (http://www.DriverzInc.com/rushforth.html) and they should all be up by this time next week on www.RushforthWheels.com (http://www.RushforthWheels.com) but there's still a lot of content there right now and anyone who wants a catalog, info, pricing, photos or renderings can PM or email me or DriverzInc who just posted above.

Thanks for your support and your interest,

Not at all, David. We're priced very competitively but don't list prices simply because there are so many variables like diameter, width, finish, powdercoating, etc.

Let us know what you need and you'll have an exact quote.

We also have years of experience in fitment and a database of countless cars to build you exactly what will fit your application as well as complete customer service from fitment to follow through. Just ask our friends who were once clients.

I can tell you pricing is very competitive compared to the competition and like all wheel makers, pricing is usually not listed because of the reasons Jason touched upon...too many varibles to choose from.

The wheels I have on order are in the middle of the center display in the 1st picture Tim posted....the ones that are totally grey in finish.

Jon is an fitment expert so when you deal with him,you can be assured he knows of what he speaks in term of exact fitment, usually the most critical portion of the wheel-ordering experience.Buy the best and buy with confidence with Jon @ www.driverzinc.com:thumbsup:

The Rushforth family is growing,I can tell you that...and for good reason.

I think that It was great of Jason to take the time to post! I will definitely try to obtain a set when I unload the concept neepers. Got to sell them first I'm the "poor"-touring guru

Thanks for the replies I know what the big deal is.

No, thank you for posting, David! We have been working hard to get brand recognition in a very coompetitive market and your post shows us we're doing ok.

I'm sure Tim and John will post their pics when they get them and help prove the point! Thanks again, Everyone and let us know if anyone needs anything from t-shirts to new wheels and we'll take care of you.

Ummmm, thanks I think. We'll make fitments for Hummers but I specifically designed the line for high end pro-touring musclecars and sportscars and have a long list of clients with Chevelles and other GM A-bodies, Novas, Camaros, Cudas, etc. and they look just right on them but like Tim said above, if you're looking for retro or think 19s are for European cars or one of the guys who voted yes on the white letter radial thread, these aren't going to be for you.

well said jason. most on here like the stock look, but a few of us have seen the light. pro-touring or restomod or whatever else you want to call it, updating a car to not only handle as well as any new car but making it look good at the same time is the way to go.

HEY!!!!! LOL, jk. And btw, I still haven't posted pics of my new wheels!

And I actually do like larger wheels on chevelles, over the years I have come away from strictly 15" wheels but I can't seem to venture from the 5 spoke crowd, idk why. And the 5 spokes they offer are nice, but everyone seems to make split 5 spoke wheels nowadays.

Just messing with you man...:D

Take it from me,I've had everything on my 'Velle from 14" stockers to a 18/20 combo and to me personally,18's all-around look best on these cars,IMHO.
That being said, here's the combo I currently run on this car,you tell me if you like it or don't...won't offend me in the least.:noway::

VinceS427bb,
No problem man, wheels are very selective and that's why they make so many styles to choose from.I find it hard to believe there wasn't even one style you'd be proud to put on your ride out of all the wheels Jason Rushforth has designed...but if so,that's life in the fast lane man.
How boring would it be if we all ran polished torque-thrust II's on our cars...

LOL, believe me, I've seen almost every picture you've ever posted!!! Your cars all look BAD ASS!!!

Don't get me wrong, I do like some bigger wheels and as stated, the quality of the Rushworth wheels looks to be very high, I just wish they'd be more outside of the box. With that said, I will definitely be keeping my eyes on them!

The WidowMaker
Jul 8th, 08, 2:24 AM
im not sure what could be considered outside the box anymore. with a few hundred thousand options, it get really hard to tell them apart. but, what is outside of the box for the rushforths are the six, seven and ten spokes in a protouring theme, plus all the brushed finishes.

i used to be a die hard 5 spoke guy, but im sick of seeing the same thing at a car show. every car is painted stock with the same motor and the same wheels and the same stock interior. now i love the original stuff, but i want something different. for me, the rushforths do that. im personally going to run the 7 spoke wildsides with a charcoal center in a 19/20 combo. and because i dont like a car that sits high, im going to bury at least 1.5" of the rim with the fender. it should look sick if it looks anything like the rendering jason did for me.

I'll be one to say those wheels look ugly on your ride John. The cast gray 5 spokes you ran in a previous phot shoot looked lots better. I prefer shiny over any of the powder coated/painted stuff. To me it makes the car look dull. I am not a big fan of the flat rim area on most of the rushforths wheels either. Not many take pics as nice as yours but these last ones above do not do your car justice because of the wheels. But it's your car and I know you do things the way you like them. To each their own :)

Besides within a month you'll have different ones on there anyways, right? :D

rianbechtold
Jul 8th, 08, 4:58 AM
IDK why but the 6+ spoked wheels have always looked strange to me due to the 5 lugs. Thats why I made the Hummer comment, on trucks and suvs, they look good but on 5 lug hubs, they seem to "overpower" and make the center section look unsymmetrical, but that is just my opinion.

The thing that kills the five spokes for me is again a lugnut placement issue. I can't stand when the lugnuts are in the spokes, idk why, but it is the first thing that draws my attention and I can't overlook it:noway:

See how picky I am!!?? It took forever for me to find "my" perfect wheel (and then being able to buy them was another story!):D

I personally cannot stop staring at my car with these wheels so I guess that's all that matters. Some of my friends don't like them either but last I checked,my name was on the registration:yes:...and I pay the bills so I guess it's all good.
I didn't mind the cast grey AR CL205's that were on it previously...for awhile, but as I mentioned, they weren't built for this car and were too skinny for my tastes and the b/s was all off. These Bonspeed wheels to me are a modern twist on those old-school wheels and they were custom made for this car so they fit like a glove.;)

Wheels are SO personal and they can make or break a car.Obviously everyone has their favorites and like I said...how boring would it be if everyone ran polished Torque-Thrust II's?Oh wait...they do!

rianbechtold,
I hear you on the lugs through the spoke thing...this is not my favorite feature of the Bonspeed wheel but I've learned to live with it.Besides, not all 5-spoke wheels use this arrangement. My VWW V-40's don't and my AR 200S's don't...and those are just two I can think of off the top of my head.
