going to build a 454 stroker 496 and some guy I know has a 454 out of what he thinks is a '78 truck. I was wondering what range of year truck blocks will work for a 496 with no clearance problems as far as the connecting rods or anything else. also, this motor is complete right now (out of the truck) and it still has the truck heads on it and everthing, what would be a good price for it even though its just gonna get torn apart right away.
