I got sent in for a MRI on Thursday, between the tingling hand's, and the constant Headache, with shooting pains, and the eternal Earache, Doc said it was time. All these thing's are side effects of Trigiminal Nueralgia, but also side effect's of various form's of Tumors.

When I went in to the MRI machine, Everybody was happy, and chatty and all. When I came out, the Mood in the room was completely different. Kinda like when Someone drop's a Turd in the Punchbowl, and Everyone is standing around looking at it.

So, I've been waiting all weekend to get the result's back from the MRI, telling Me I got a big ole Tumor growing inside My head. That might explain alot of different thing's from throughout My life, though.:D

Finally got the results back Today, and NO Tumor. :hurray: Appearantly, what the technician's saw was a sinus infection, that was cloudy in appearance.

Whew, what a relief. I can't even explain, where all You're mind can wonder in 3 day's.:sad:

Still no breakthrough in dealing with the TMN, but I'll take this for now.

excellent news Dave....keep your thoughts on the positive side of things and everything will work out...

congrats on the good news, I can relate, my wife just had to go through a whole bunch of tests (ct scans x-rays ect.) to find out she has severe athsma .

Thank's Dave, My Brother came by, and We tried that alternative treatment.:noway: Didn't work, so I tried some more.:D

Then it just made My head pound.:sad: And I had to Eat a bag of cookies, and watch some cartoon's.:D

He prefers animal cookies. And NO, I won't let him try an alternative form of treatment with ya,,,,,,,just eat the cookies.

Just got back from our family northern roadtrip, very happy to see this thread in such a positive tone.

Well, I went to the DR. today, to get the Official MRI result's. It turns out that the Sinusitus infection, is MASSIVE. First thing He asked Me was "Do You feel like You have an infection?" No, I feel fine, He said You shouldn't, turns out I got the Biggest Sinus infection ever seen by the Radiologist's. In fact, They asked, and I consented to letting Them release it for furthur study.

So now I'm on a seriously HUGE dose of AntiBiotics. Could this be the cause of the TMN, it's really possible. Three Week treatment, I really hope it does it.

The last one would not clear up, weeks of meds and a few MRIs.....
They went in and opened the sinuses.....ZOIKS!!!!!! They said this was as bad as they've seen too...
I'd get slamming headaches...nearly pass out if I bent down..

Feel it when I bent down, but figured it was the Nueralgia. I'm relly looking forward to this clearing it up. I've basically had a Headache for a month.

Hey Dave hope everything clears up.:yes: I too have had bad sinus infections. In fact I get one or two every year and I think its because of the work environment I work in with all the dust and crap in the air. Last one lasted 4 weeks and two doses of antibiotics. Again hope it clears up and thats the only problem.

I was getting 2-4 sinus infections a year. Usually started with allergies (hayfever) and quickly progress into a full blown infection.

She put me on Allegra daily for the last 2.5 years. The only sinus infection I've had since was during the winter... I neglected to refill my prescription, figured.. it's winter I don't need allergy meds... 3 weeks later... sinus infection.

Me too. I always get sinus infections but rarely ever get sick, sick. Shawn is in the middle of a nasty sinus infection too and actually asked to go to the doctor so he must have a heck of a sinus headache going because he will put up with alot before ever admitting he wants to go see the witch doctor.

It must be working, cause it's starting to drain, not much. I think that I feel better, just kinda knowing what it might be. Make's Me wonder how long this has been going on. Been feeling kinda run down for awhile, Doc said I should feel a HUGE difference when this clears up.

You're going to be hacking up horrible green $hit for a while Dave, some of it will be real dry and hard to blow out, so try not to give yourself a nose bleed, it'll take a while to break up.

The Nueralgia, is still present, not as bad though. And I still got a week of anti-biotics to go. I got an appointment to see the doc on Monday, gonna check the progress of the infection. I haven't started hacking it up, and that concerns Him.
