Elviss 1971 Jun 30th, 08, 11:15 PM Nice job ! I like the color as well and your engine bay looks great. The M/T valve covers are still one of the sharpest made IMO.
L7870_cortez Jun 30th, 08, 11:34 PM Very Nice. Paint the Ladder bars Yellow or Flatblack.

dmg1029 Jul 1st, 08, 12:04 AM Mike,
Excellent work. I know you have a lot of work in it. Keep up the efforts and send us the finished pics. (unless you are too busy driving it!!!:D)
oldtimebaseballfan Jul 1st, 08, 10:22 AM Mike, looks like you have put a lot of time and effort in your 68. Will the back of the car lower down an inch or two?
Will the back of the car lower down an inch or two?
You should be very proud, it looks as if all that time and hard work are paying off big time.
cc1968cc Jul 1st, 08, 11:20 AM Very nice Mike, :beers: :hurray:
ss68396 Jul 1st, 08, 12:24 PM if it will get lower dont know but maybe it should once start driving her,it is sitting a lil high but im diggin it, also got air shocks full dont know if that matters,
and the color has a faint lite blue pearl to it, i was surprised wen i went to go look at it after it was painted. but it still need wet sand and buff and fix sratches ans chips made by me and ma father while assembling
and thanks
curley8788 Jul 1st, 08, 12:45 PM i love it. OBVIOUSLY.
any reason why you have two plug wires backwards?
Mikeys69 Jul 1st, 08, 12:50 PM What colour paint is that?
Love the car. Looks a little old school with the M/T valve covers and ladder bars..
6SuperSport7 Jul 1st, 08, 3:26 PM Looking Great!
2guitars Jul 1st, 08, 3:53 PM Only one criticism:
You should be smiling!
ss68396 Jul 1st, 08, 5:35 PM those wires i set back didnt reallyu like how they were turning out.
color, sea mist green mettalic by ppg i believe
1badss396 Jul 1st, 08, 5:40 PM Looks great now all your missing is the 2 black strips of rubber down the driveway:D
64chevy Jul 2nd, 08, 1:35 AM Very Nice!!! I can only wish my car were even close to being this far along...
Just a few things I would do if it were my car:
1. You obviously spent a lot of time in the engine compartment, so I would spend some time routing the plug wires for a cleaner look.
2. The tailpipes look like they are hanging very low or not "turned" right if that makes sense. Just looks like they should tuck up a little closer...
Not criticisms by any means, just little things I would do for a cleaner overall look! Btw, I love the wheels!
ss68396 Jul 2nd, 08, 9:39 PM yea the wires got the new set in and got them lookin nice, never would have happend with those 10.5 taylors,
and the mufflers im have to get them done at local muffler shop cuz i hate how they look also
thanks for the comments and keep them going
mr 4 speed Jul 2nd, 08, 10:39 PM Mike, nice looking ride..great job..68's are one of my favorite A body years!!
bdc1013 Jul 3rd, 08, 4:58 AM i don't know if it was a good idea to paint the headers orange. that stuff is going to burn up right away, and i can't imagine what color is going to be left. You should probably let the air out of the air shocks, that rear end is WAY up there, could cause some vibrations plus some wheel hop.
otherwise, looks great, i personaly like the 68 over the 69
zx7joker Jul 4th, 08, 12:12 PM Sweet '68!
stroobydoo Jul 4th, 08, 11:29 PM Lookin' good!
