with track prep being a variable it may be to soon to run the flag up the flagpole, but 3 out of 4 passes last night the 60' only varied .002. as opposed to .13. other mods this outing were relocating the battery to the trunk, and running with a half tank of fuel. im not sure the bar in itself helped the hooking but rather letting me deflate the airbags and the added weight lowered the rear of the car 1.7/8". the car was missing a bit at upper RPMs but think its a plug fouling problem. the car goes though plugs like a 12 year old though a bag of gummie bears. good weather should be here next week so some new best should be in line. i used the "Applied Racing Technology" pro unit.
It's great to read about others success!! Did your 60' also improve or just was more consistant?Do you know where your IC is now without the bags inflated? I'd like to gather the IC location from all the 67 racers and then we'd have a starting point as we set up our suspensions. I ordered a Wolfe bar setup last week.
I just got back from Vegas and the Super Stock and stock cars there where hooking like crazy. One Chevelle made it to the late stock class rounds but I couldn't find him in the pits to talk to and see how his suspension was set. I'm sure the super track conditions helped alot but wow to see so many cars pull th front tires and hook like that motivated me even further to figure these things out.
