Below is a picture of the starter brace I just got because after several great sounding starts, I started getting the dreaded grind. I saw a few posts here where others suggested a starter brace. I never heard of such a thing, but ordered it and I received it today.

Anyone have pics of how it looks installed? I assume the hook end slide over one of the really small but long starter bolts that run parallel with the ground and the other bolts to a hole on the block somewhere.

Here is the one I have, along with a mini-starter (Duralast DL3510S starter)

The open end will attach to one of the stud type bolt at the rear of the starter, if you have it. The other end will attach to the block.

Thanks. I have to look, I believe there is one of the bolts that sticks out for the brace to attach to.
