Not sure where to start. I bought a black 66 chevelle from Golden Classics on dec 24th of 07. The car came from Ohio, but Golden Classics won't let me contact the previous owner. I'm trying to get some specs on the motor without pulling it out. Anybody have a clue how to track down a previous owner? Thanks.

Did Golden Classics give you a reason why they wouldn't tell you?

My guess would be PRIVACY LAWS.. I know if I sold a car to a dealer and they later gave my name/phone number to whomever.. I wouldn't be a happy camper... There are certain things that you just need to get permission to do..:yes:

Golden Classics and I are in litigations at this time. I don't mind telling you, THEY ARE CROOKS!!! Anybody thinking of buying from them, contact me and I'll give you a few people to talk to that have been sold something "far from the description".

Sure isn't the first time I have heard of buyers VERY unhappy with them. Good luck in court. I have talked to them on the phone before. Got a real bad feeling just listening to them. They wouldn't give me straight answers to anything I asked. It's been a few years back.

I thought Golden Classics was in New Jersey :confused: Two different dealers with the same business name, or same dealer with multiple locations?

Isn't that the outfit that Bruce Willis was suing over a POS GTO that he bought from them?
