I'm curious if anyone has went from a 454 to a 496 and what the E.T. improvement was, or even the HP/Torque increase. Thinking about upgrading, just contemplating the improvement vs. cost..

I'm going from a 460 to a 505,results to come as early as February,weather permitting. The builder is guesstimating 6-650hp and at least that much torque also, which is at least 100 more hp and torque than what the 460 was producing. I hope I can hook it and hope for a 10 second timeslip or should I say I WILL eventually hook it and get that timeslip...rollbar ,c clip eliminators and axles will be added also.

my engine builder says the same, he said at least a 100hp more. But I'm also upgrading my heads at the same time...
