How much tq/hp can a well built 4 bolt 383 make? with out being blown. Thanks

It runs on 91 octane and the cam is around .450 lift. My guess would be that 500hp would be easy(costly) Nickel333 Mar 28th, 04, 6:04 PM you talking pump gas? Nitrous? ported or box stock heads? Roller, solid, hydraulic cam? The power ability is huge if you want to run very high compression and everything to match. Be specific on what your intent is.
