How much tq/hp can a well built 4 bolt 383 make? with out being blown. Thanks

I dont really have a good answer for you, but mine is fairly conservative and it made 400hp and 425tq. It runs on 91 octane and the cam is around .450 lift. My guess would be that 500hp would be easy(costly)

you talking pump gas? Nitrous? ported or box stock heads? Roller, solid, hydraulic cam? The power ability is huge if you want to run very high compression and everything to match. Be specific on what your intent is.

91 octane gas, about 11.1 compression. A street motor with lots of giddy up.
