I need a diagram or picture of the parking brake cable routing for my 1969 Chevelle. I just reconnected them and there way to loose. I've got to be missing something.

Did you use the cable guide that connects to the top of the transmission cross member? If you don't get a diagram I will post one later when I get home.

It's amazing how much I've forgot. When I took the car apart about 10 years and a divorce ago, I thought I bagged, boxed, and labeled everything so I'd be able to put it back together. I don't have the motor or trans in yet so the crossmember is still in the garage. After I posted I searched on this site and saw a picture, hello, I left the parking brake hook on the crossmember so I wouldn't forget it. Thanks. Great site. I'll probably be posting alot.
