A buddy of mine has a 72 SS and we are going in on a set of slicks to use on his car and mine. Ive found a good deal on a set of Hoosier 28X10's and wondering if they should fit under his ride. If anybody has the answer Id appreciate the info. Also, if they will fit what offset wheel do we need to hunt down?

Thanks in advance,

Von

My 28x9's fit and there is a bit of room to spare. Hoosiers have a narrower section than Mickey's so you can put a wider thread. I know this didn't answer your question.

In the wheels and tire section "hoosier 28x10.5 on 10" wide rim 5.5" backspacing no trimming needed"

I had 28x10.5x15's on mine with 8" wheels,4.5" backspacing...was too close at the lip so I trimmed the lip a little.

easy, I have 29x10s in the back of mine and I'm pretty sure I could go a hair bigger without trimming.
