The previous owner of my 66 elco did some hacking to the engine harness. I have 4 wires a thin blue wire (18gauge?), a fatter purple wire (12 gauge?), orange wire with a female spade connector molded to it- looks factory(14 gauge?), and a white insulated wire (almost looks like a fiberglass wrap) What do these wires do and where do they go?
Thanks for the help!!!

The white cloth insulated wire is the IGN (resistor wire) supply to the + side of the coil.
Orange is power to the blower motor
Purple is the crank wire to the "S" terminal of starter
If it's a thin "dark blue" wire ? It's probably the oil sender wire, if everything else works, lights, wipers etc ?

Thanks, yeah everything else works fine, although there is an "extra" plug with two wires(green and yellow) that is right next to the wiper motor- but I dont see anywhere for it to plug in and the wipers work. Since I'm running a full MSD setup I guess I dont need that resistor wire??? I was planning on running a new wire from a switched "on" to the coil...

The fusebox will have a spare terminal marked IGN that's a popular source for aftermarket ignition systems
