Had my front suspension rebuilt with new springs all around. I have a problem with the rear that when the rear tires are jacked off the ground the springs fall out of place. It is a real b*&#h when you are by yourself trying to get back in place. Is there something that will hold these in place when jacked up. 72 SS

Sounds like either the wrong springs or wrong shocks were installed. The proper length spring will not fall out unless the proper length shock is removed.

I have the same problem with my ride... '66 with a 9", Drag shocks and Moroso drag springs (uncut). Whenever possible I jack up the rear via the housing to avoid the hassle of the four step solo spring alignment process....

Run a quick search. There are several posts that review holding the rear springs in place using the bottom pigtail and axle mount.
Overview-Large washers and appropriately sized bolt, top and bottom of lower spring perch.
