What do you guy's think about this. Apart from my 67 Velle I own a 96 Impala, now I just picked up another 96 Impala for parts. I need the interior. I'm left with a ton parts out of that IMP. One that I keep looking at is the Bucket seat's, center counsel, and dash. See I still need wiring for my Velle, and lets not get started on the interior. So I was thinking about slapping the dash with A/C box controls and the full harness from the IMP to the Velle. Also the power Bucket SS seat's, and rear seat's. You guy's out there think this is a good or bad idea? Be honest, I can take some criticism. Either way it's just a thought. Also does anyone know if I could use the spindle's off the 96 IMP B-Body on my GM A-Body? Has this been done?

Yea I know, what I'm really looking for is someone to say if this'll look good or bad. To me it'll be a lot easier than sitting there and ordering a ton of part's . First off I don't have it like that any more, and second I consider this to be a fairly easy project. I could use the A/C box on the firewall, pass key, hell if I wanted I could even keep the air bag's in there. LOL! That'll be a trip, to see a 67 Velle with air bag's. I asked about the spindle's cause it'll be cool to have ABS too, the 2 car's weight is about the same, I think the IMP is a bit heavier not sure on that.

I think it would be good for you, bad for resale. Not that you won't be able to resell it, but it will take longer to find the right buyer.
Enjoy the car however you want, keep the old parts for the next guy.

Always keep the original parts. Your taste and the taste of the car's next owner will likely not be the same. If and when you do sell, your car will likely even sell more quickly if you erase all of your changes.

How are people going to get in the back seat? As the 96 IMP seats have a fixxed leanback!
