Anybody know the approximate cost and where or how to get it done?
The aftermarket pad is warping on my and I'd like to get my factory original recovered (or do it myself).
Advice??

I found this company and was going to give them a try over the winter for our '67 dash pad. They seem to have a good process. Hot Rod just did a short article on them in the August '08 issue. If you use them let us know how things turn out.

Their turn around time is NOT what they say,and you will spend close to $600.00 or more to get it done.
The artical and Just Dashes tell you it will only take 2-3 weeks, but the last 3 that I have sent for customer's to them has taken well over a month to get them back, and one customer is still waiting to get his back and it's been 3 month's now.
Just my own experience's with them........

I had my original recovered as did not like the repo stuff and in my case I wanted original color /grain ........ some may disagree but the process my uphosltry guy uses is he covers over the original cover .trims away the problem areas and if really bad does some patch work and goes right over with new " correct"material around 250.00 does alot of dashes and it looks excellent been done for 3 years .....find a good shop and redo you original

The repro Dashpads are terrible. I sent my Original Dashpad to Just Dashes 20 years ago. It still looks like new and fits perfectly.
