Well,
I took the float bowls off the carb I bought to check the jets and see if it had power valves, power valve plugs or simply no power valves.
I found #92 jets front and rear. 92H to be exact, never seen an H after the number before.
There are no power valves, and no power valve plugs. The metering blocks were simply cast w/o power valve provisions.
Several of you suggested adding a power valve to the primary, but doesn't look too awful easy to do at this point. I agree that's it's a good idea BTW.
So what to do.......
Quick Fuel Technologies advertises Dominator metering block in Jegs, not a lot of info though. And their website actually has less info. Jegs catalog states that the fuel curve is totally adjustable. Gee, I wonder what that involves.
Another question, suppose a guy wishes to mess with the air bleeds. Where do you get these? I have seen "Kits" for $180.......rather expensive if you only need a few to get the job done. Ok, outrageously expensive.
Comments and suggestions welcome.
Oh, also borrowed a 2" "super sucker" to try on the dyno.
Might be moot if I can't even tune the basic carb.
