: New guy with 71 saying hey.................
Gates72ss Jun 15th, 08, 9:21 PM Hey guys, names Terry live in massachusetts currently building a 71 chevelle..Not one for the akward introductions, never really know what to say, don't want it sound like a personal ad lol...I also have a 72 nova ss that i have had for some years now.. I will be around a lot , because as of now restoring the car is my job....I just started up a small body shop here. Was a carpenter for a long time but my heart was never really in it, i know my place is working on cars, its what puts a smile on my face.....Now if i can only make this hobby pay some of the bills i would be ok lol...Currently frame offing the car....I will post up some pics of both cars in the proper forum...Try to make a progress thread because i like to see others as well...Not to far into right now just kinda stripped it and ordered some parts, the fun will begin soon enough.........I am a member at steves nova site been there for quite some time, i think there is a couple guys from over there that are on here too, was actually referred here by one of them.. ....Well i have made this confusing enough, i look forward to meeting some of you and sharing my experience as well as learning........Thanks guys for listening......

rburnette Jun 19th, 08, 10:52 PM Hello again everyone!I just signed on here a month or two ago.Just to let everyone know, I'm an old fart, been around many, many, years among autos and lots of mechanical stuff. Worked with a GM dealer for over half my life.I'm also a electronics technician working with communications and somewhat "covert" operations with a local government somewhere. To make things short, I read a lot of forums pertaining to the type of work I do.I usually do not reply-- just read and sit back and just think about some of the "know-it-all's" that want to jump in and try to make an ass of some of the new members that just want to try to learn something from others!I want to let everyone on the Chevelle Tech Team know that I have read many., many responses, and I am VERY impressed with the members of this forum!
I have NEVER seen a negative or smart remark to someone here!
This forum is GREAT!!
Everyone helps each other!!
Keep up the great work helping others that want to learn without any ridicule!!!!
