Here are a few pics of the car I got about 3 years ago. Bought it rolling from a man that raced it in the 10.5 tire class of N.M.C.A. Was pretty rough but after a while in a rotisserie and 2 qtrs. and door skins, it's looking pretty good. Car came with glass hood, fenders and bumpers which I will re-use. Will be strictly street car with pump gas 496, Lunati solid roller, 305 A.F.R. heads, reverse manual Turbo 400 and 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. Should be fun to harass Mustangs and Johnny Law with.

Looks like a great project. Never finished my 69 pro-street car before it got sold. Someday I will find another one.

Looking very nice. Mine's a '68 hardtop, but anyway......I noticed your rack and pinion, and was wondering what company produced that, or did you do it yourself? I like it, a lot. Info please.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Dave, I gave $4,250.00 for the car rolling. It was in pretty poor shape rust wise but I was able to sell old tires and wheels etc. and recoup money for other things. The vent windows are specific to 68 or 69 post cars parts are hard to find especially chrome frames for the vent windows. Jason, the rack is a Flaming River Mustang II that was about $200.00 new from Jeg's. I installed it myself by fabbing the 2 mounts that weld to frame.I have some detailed pics of how it is mounted on my computer but will have to get my wife to post them because I don't know how.Let me know if you would like to see them and I can go into more detail of how I did it. I had a 70 Chevelle that I did this to about 10 years ago and it works fine. A chassis builder helped me with the first one to keep me out of bumpsteer and it really ain't hard.Takes a healthy amount of weight off the fromt too. Randy.

Like the way you tried to hide the single plane intake! I love the completely "Chevy Orange" engine.

I have no idea what you are talking about. It is a stock Qjet intake....It runs 14s, too!
