I have a carb that I am trying to figure out what it is from and what it might be worth? I was told that the carb is from a 1966 396/360 HP, 4 speed car that would have gone to California. The numbers on the carb are 3892339 EY. list 3609, and the number 613 below the list number. The carb does not have its base plate or choke plate. Does the carb have some value? Thanks for your help.

you have everything right, of course it has value. Mostly it depends on condition and how complete it is.

6=1966
1=January
3=3rd week

for what it is worth, post this in the "what's it worth?" forum, it will get more traffic there.

From your description it is worth anywhere from $40-$350. A picture does wonders.
