I know I read the key removal thread but this is harder than it looks, to me anyway, I feel like I have a three grade education here, ok here is my problem, I went from a column shifter to the whole floor shifter thing, seats, console the whole nine yards....and now I got this floor shift column that I changed but with no keys, so I bought a complete key outfit for it, well it says when you take out the key lock cylinder, that you have to have the key in the switch, I don't have a key to get it out, and it ain't coming out, any help would be greatly appreciated, I change all the other locks but working on glove box now and it seems to be a bit.. thanks guys, I hope someone can help this ol' man

I went to a used car dealer who had a coffee can full of keys and tried them until I found one that worked. It wasn't perfect, but it worked.
