hey, just wanted to see if anyone could tell me how to identify my rear end on my 70 chevelle. i tried using the rearend coder thing here on team chevelle but the codes arent in the spots or in the format the page says. whats going on? Its a 10-bolt for sure. please help me out.

Front of the right(passenger) side axle tube.

yeah thats what it said but i looked and theres no codes there. but theres four digit codes on each side right below the cover.

Those stamped codes arn't easy to see/find -usually takes some good cleaning to get them visable.
About midway on the front of the tube.
