Anyone got a picture for the placement of the diff. brake line clips. Mine are black were they originally black or plated.

Never mind I found it it, looks like the clips go in the upper second row.

Jim, by black do you mean a black phosphate or black paint?

My clips are from inline tube they are black phosphate.
Did they paint the drain plug or leave it bare steel.

I would leave the clips, if memory serves my '69 I restored in 93-94 had no signs of a bright finish remaining.

I would say the plug is bare steel, as the red Posi-Tag would have gotten painted also.

Maybe the plug was put in at the axel plant. Then the posi tag added later when they added the fluid. Fluid added at the axel plant or later?
