The Cecil County Dragway thing is not happening as far as I know. They are having the ALL HARLEY DRAG RACING ASSOC. weekend. I spoke with Bob Wilcox during the OC Cruisin weekend and he said he was still trying but it didn't look good.

I will be there but my 68 is doubtful.

I'm thinking of stopping by on Saturday...weather permitting...

Is that next weekend or the the one after? I'm hoping to be able to stop by and meet you guys. Next weekend is the GM at Carlisle show and I'll be up there picking up a few things so hopefully it's the weekend after!

June 28-29 are the show dates. I'll be there Friday thru Sunday. I'm only bringing the 70 this year. I no longer have a driver for the 69 so it's stayinghome this year. Cecil County Drag night is not happening at this time. We are still working on the Saturday night Cruise which will end back at the park where we will once again have a small drive-in setup with a movie playing.

Wish I could make it, flying out Friday the 27th for 2 weeks in Seattle with my family. Ya'll have a great time!

I "should" be there on Sunday (probably in the Elco). I know there are a few PACC (http://www.pachevelleclub.com/) members going down as well. Most likely there will be 2 70's (one convertible), a 72 and a 69 along with me?

Can't make it this year but hoping to get there in '09. Talked to the wife about it just the other day. Looking forward to giving it a try!

The Mid-Atlantic Chevelle show hasn't been at the Big M for about 10 years now. The show moved to North East Community Park..a much larger venue. The Big M closed down about 4 years ago.

ive been to the big m a few times with an astro blue 70 chevelle ss396. had black ss strips and pearl white interior. some of you might remember it, the two times it was entered in the show it was in the stock class.

Actually Sid I am not sure, I think only at the bigger events. Although one would think the PACC storming into Maple Grove (http://www.pachevelleclub.com/) would be a big event. :D

We won't be coming this year. Althought the new motor runs great the turbo 400 has issues shifting gears and the trans has to come out.

This is from the MCC website: North East Community Park in North East, Maryland. Located off exit 100 from I-95, it is centrally located in the town. North East Community Park is right on the Chesapeake Bay and provides a perfect picturesque background.
Only about 3.5 - 4 hours from Bloomsburg :)

I-95 South to exit 100A, then MD 272 south, through the town of North East (cross over RT 40), then right on Walnut Street. You can't miss it :thumbsup:

Yes, we have no cars in the car corral area as of yet, should not be a problem.

The cruise WILL NOT be to Cecil County Dragway, but it will be about a 40 minute cruise through the back roads of Cecil County beginning and ending at the park. I have already printed out maps and word directions for the cruise.

I will be heading to NJ this friday for a weekend away with the family. We are taking the Elco down and will be dropping by on our way home Sunday. Look for me to be a wall flower over next to the bay:D.

Looks like I can drive down on Sunday for a while.

Change of plans. I';ll drive down , likely Friday night, overnight. Hope that town park is open overnight, see y'all first thing Sat am.

JJ, thnx bro, I do plan on parking there after the run ( maybe 0400-0500 hrs Lord willin') and catching some shuteye. I'll check in with the CQ, Dave! NY plates 3X2427. But I will check in and park at the eastern public parking lot. Hope I dont get twisted up during the last 20 miles or so, lots of cows, not many road signs!
