I was part of this site about 7-8 Years ago when I was 16, I had sold my first 1972 Chevelle at 18 due to the fact that many people kept trying to steal it and in the process they damaged it big time. I had built the the engine to a 450hp 355ci with a matching 350 trans. Got in trouble with the law as well and couldnt afford it....DOH! I regret it, but now im older and making much more money to where I can afford to restore another one!! Oh, and my driving record is clear :hurray: I also am also the High Performance manager for the biggest engine remanufacturer in the world, so I have a hook up on just about anything to due with an engine or transmission and other parts....:p

I am now back in the market looking for a straight body 1970-1972 Chevelle with no engine or trans preferrably. Time to get back to my dream car and make things right.

I look forward to talking to you all and helping each other out :beers:

Welcome Brandon. We (CarQuest Auto Parts) are a distributor of your engines. I work in customer service at the distribution center in Columbia SC. Good engine program. How about sending me an HP42 and I'll do some R&D work in return?

Just joking on the R&D (research and developement). No not looking for an engine. This winter I'll be stroking mine to 496. I honestly don't know what kind of horsepower mine has. I would hope somewhere over the 500 mark, but I don't know. Take care.
