Anyone know of a place that can convert a signal from a 4l60e to work with a factory speedo? Or convert the speedo to be electric?

I want the stock look, but the car is getting a LS1/4l60e transplant

go to www.hotrodlane.cc (http://www.hotrodlane.cc) I'm currently trying to put a LT-1/4L60e in my 64 Chevelle. I'm just working on the car so far and havent started the transplant. They sale a tranny tailshaft housing that allows you to install the manual speedo drive and also has the place for the ekectric VSS that sends the pulse to the computer... However its expensive. $410.95 is what its selling for. I'm going to try to figure out a way to make my own and add a manual drive to the stock 4l60e tailshaft... I've heard it can be done.? What are you going to do about a wiring harness for yours?

I have the harness from a 00 camaro

theres a company that makes a box that has an electric motor that converts the signal from electric to manual, its only $300, but I'm hoping for something cheaper
