The 1965 chevelle cowl tag pictured has a #22 stamped in it.

I am trying to find out what the stamp is. Does anyone have any information?

I saw this one on the web, it has a 27 on it.

My 65 Has a #12 in the tag also.

New one on me, but they are both from Fremont, CA. Looks like the same font for the stamp, I'm guessing it was done by Fisher -- but what the heck do I know!!

One theory is that this is the body tub assembly jig number that the body was assembled on.
