what's the best mileage you guys are getting out there with a 350. I had a 69 el camino with 307 and got around 19 mpg. I was thinking about putting a 2 barrel carb on my 350

11 in town (driving like I normally do...not easy on it)
21-22 highway (70-75 mph, converter locked, average over 250 miles including lots of hills)

70 Chevelle Sta. Wgn.-- 454 (LS-5) --700R4--3:08 12 Bolt.
at 75 MPH. 454 is turning 1950 RPMs. Drove it from Pittsburgh, Pa. to Goodlettsville,Tenn. last year. Highway milage. 19.46 MPG.
The carb. is a Auto Zone $ 115.00 Rebuild. I aint crying just yet......... Bob:thumbsup:
