I was wondering how many users have a personal web-site for their car/cars..? A place to show off your car or even display your build. From start to finish.

I've just got the cardomain site in my signature.

If you go to my garage you'll find other cars I've owned, but nothing like the detail I've tracked with this project.

That reminds me, cardomain was down earlier tonight when I was trying to update pic's from this weekend.

Thanks for posting that. I currently have Webtv which is $20 per month in addition to my normal web carrier. I then have to get a seperate phone line which is $50 per month.

Using this Google system will save me $70 monthly.

Thanks

This is fantastic reading about other Chevelle owners rides, and how they were brought back from the dead or near dead. And are prode of there build with step by step information. Very good reading...

I used to have a website but the darn thing became almost as much work to keep up as the cars! These days I use FQuick. It's free and easy to upload pictures/text about each car and there doesn't seem to be a space limitation.

I just got the pictures of my '66 SS 396 on my website yesterday. I don't have any written description of it yet though. I will try to post here this week. The pics are setting the frame up and mounting the 396 with Richmond 5 OD. There are also pics of my '55 street car and '55 gasser.

Nice Mike.
I did a search for a thread like this before I put my own up. You know 99% of the guys on here are great. But there is the 1% that think they are better, smarter and have nothing better to do than criticize your work, on going work or what ever your current project might be. You would think they would put that energy into something else, hmmm like maybe their cars. But their cars are already PERFECT, I forgot. Here is my resto site http://members.cox.net/shane918 It's not perfect. For those of you who don't know. This reply carries over from another thread.
Thanks Mike

Yes, I have a web site. My daughter set one up for me years ago but it doesn't get updated; she's too busy and I don't know how.......so I don't include it in my signature anymore.

I've been using Cardomain for my cars. Sometimes it's slow to upload pictures, and it's somewhat limited in creativity, but it's ok for free.

I have a personal website that I am building up as well as a photobucket account. The photobucket account link is in my signature.

My personal site is theswartleys.com/activities/chevelle (http://theswartleys.com/activities/chevelle/). It is quite sparing right now, but it is a work in progress. I started it primarily for my family, but the Chevelle has quickly become the focus of the information input.

See sig. Haven't updated in a while, just no time except for posting an occasional gallery of what the car looks like at the time. Plus, nobody wants to read about how I did the exact same things as everyone else in exactly the same way. You know, front end rebuild, engine install, brake upgrade.

My web host had a server mix up and lost a bunch of things. In the process of restoring my backups, I decided to do things a bit differently. The base for my Chevelle restoration is now and should always be 70chevelle.theswartleys.com (http://70chevelle.theswartleys.com). I just got the redirects working properly so it really doesn't matter what you use.

I have Web Albums for most of my interests on Picasa.
Free, no ads, and easy to create. Pics from there can be quickly added to Team Chevelle forums, too.
Check my sig for the 1969 el Camino pages then from there look at the photo albums of my other stuff.

Have my own website. Used to just use the free web space I got with Comcast, but it got to be a hassle.

Didn't start off to be just about my Jeep (and a little of my wife's VW), but quickly turned that way. Chevelle isn't included yet, other than a couple pics hosted on there, just because I haven't done anything worthy of showing off.
