My '69 doesn't have the buttons on the seat covers for the front buckets or back seat. Is it a big deal to have them installed? Does the upholstery shop have to take the seats all apart to do this? If it's a big deal, I'll just leave them alone but would like the car to be correct.

Hi Mike,
The seat has to be taken apart in order to secure the buttons.

But...it's not hard. Just remove the plastic back on the buckets. Since I have a 2 seater 69, I'm not sure on the rear, but it seams you would be able to get to them by just removing the rear seat.

I actually like the look of no buttons(cleaner looking) but I know it's not correct.

Does anyone have the exact measurements of where the buttons are supposed to go?

anyone have a pic of seats with the buttons?

My neighbor has his seats at an upholstery shop right now and needs to know where they go...

Thanks-
Ben
