: Thank You From Canada
OutCast Jun 8th, 08, 7:19 PM To all of you fine TCNW people,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Your hospitality is 2nd to none. I had so much fun over the last 3 days, I am just beaming. :)
From start to finish this was one of the best road trips I've ever been on. The fact that we were under water at Bremerton really doesn't matter in light of all the great times that were had.
Thank you to all of you who opened your homes to me and made me so welcome.
I am very grateful to know you all as friends. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Thanks again.
Your Canadian friend, John :)
You're very welcome John. I had a great time as well, given the circumstances. Next time, when We really get to race, imagine how much better it'll be.
66SSFan Jun 8th, 08, 8:18 PM Thankyou John for making the trip. I was great to see your car and all the hard work you have done, either way you look at it, it was a great success. I had a blast even with the weather and thanks for blessing my new shop:D
loader1 Jun 8th, 08, 8:42 PM Thanks for coming down John. It was great to see you and the car. You certainly can be proud of how far you've come with it! Just wish the weather had been better so that you could've gotten in a bunch of passes.
I wonder if the smoke has cleared from Mike's shop yet. :D
Glad you made it home safe.
Kevin R Jun 8th, 08, 10:07 PM Hey John glad you had a good time and also can take my humor. I was just giving you a hard time:D Cant wait to see the chevelle rip down the strip with a good carb on it:yes:
66 Buick Special Jun 8th, 08, 10:30 PM John,
Glad we could put you up for the night buddy!
Enjoyed running a couple errands with you Friday morning, as well as being able to show you your first drive-thru coffee experience.:D:cool:
1966malibu Jun 8th, 08, 11:54 PM Hey John glad to hear you made it home OK. It was good to see your car in person she is meaner looking in real life than in your pictures. It sounds like we might want to rally the troops for a July TNT and race weekend. I thought you said you were going to try to make it back down by then. I think there well be a few Fords around on the weekend of the 11th through the 13th that we could pick on (or get beat by in my case). Besides you cant let that one pass of your stand as your best for to long. What was your ET and MPH on that again ;)?
Greg
kettbo Jun 8th, 08, 11:58 PM Maybe it was slower than my 15.1/90:thumbsup:
1966malibu Jun 9th, 08, 12:00 AM Sorry George I well never tell :noway:.
66SSFan Jun 9th, 08, 12:03 AM John will be comfortable in the 12's after all is sorted out who knows on the bottle. It helps to have a good working rpm limiter too:D
Dave Jun 9th, 08, 12:14 AM The chasis dyno was invaluble to Him. We got to get a good dial in on it.
Darryl, Kevin and I were talking about how TCNW, need's to do a group buy on a Dyno.
OutCast Jun 9th, 08, 12:35 AM Sorry George I well never tell :noway:.
Thanks, Greg. You really are a friend. :D
George if you want to run me, I'm all for it...I just hope my rev limiter isn't messed up this time. I didn't like that sinking I just threw a rod in my new engine feeling.:noway: So I shut 'er down real early.
I did however wrap the speedo a couple of times on the dyno.:D
I just showed my kid's the video Dave took...Thanks Dave.
It just confirmed it to my kid's that their Dad is a total gearbox.:clonk:

I've been there! Knocking sounds are bad too.
I was actually picking on my Elky with the slow times, not your car.
