Great pics Mike... IS it me, or does that showfield look a little light?? Sure wish I would have made it though..

During the award ceremonies they said that there were about 300 cars registered this year and 511 past year. It was still a great show.

probably nothing broke just removing the exhaust pipes as he does every year at the track, and if memory serves, probably run back to the hotel with them still unhooked.:thumbsup::D:thumbsup::cool:

Needless to say that run was not very pretty. That was the first time for me to take RE down the track, so needless to say I was a tad nervous. I left on the brake and as I released the buttom, which is on the shifter, I went into second.

After that simply foot braked it, which seemed to work better. My 60' times were not real good, 1.7s, but still ran low 6.90s at about 104.

This was my first Chevebration but hopefully will not be my last. I had a blast, at both the track and at the park.

The drag strip is always fun, but did you get to do the Nashville Super Speedway thing this year like the past two years? I was wondering because all the pictures this year are from the show field and drag strip.

No Rocky...the Friday night cruise was to the Corvette Museum.

Thanks for bringing Red Alert out. I'm glad I finally got to see it in person, it made my weekend :thumbsup:. I've only seen pics of it.

I was drooling all over it at the Ault Park Concourse show in Cincinnati the day after Chevellabration:D

I red-lighted against Bill in the semi's, then Dana did the same thing in the final. We're gonna start calling Bill "The Intimidator" :)
