Looking for advise on what Edelbrock manifold to use on my 383. 9:5 compression, mild cam, dart heads. I'm trying to decide between the performer and performer rpm.

performer rpm for sure. The regular performer is low rpm and almost a stock replacment type manifold. If you have the hood clearance I'd even consider the air gap.

Did you even think of a Holley 300-36??

Off idle to 7,200rpm and it is a true high-rise!!

And the price is generally right too from Summits..

I havn't checked into Holley. Only been shopping locally and all that I have seen is Edelbrock. Still waiting for my summit catalog.

Checked out the holley online. Sounds like a good deal. Any feedback from anyone who has tried both?

check out this months hotrod mag. they did a comparison of 6 edlebrock intakes. the perfromer RPM airgap came out on top. just my two cents.
