I inherited a car with a 4-door/wagon non-folding split bench (w/ armrest) front seat. From the upholstery it looks to have come from a '64-'65 Pontiac Tempest/Le Mans wagon or 4-door sedan. It looks to be identical to the folding type...except that it won't fold. How can I get it to fold without tearing up the covering?

I agree, the frame is completely different on a folding seat.
