The rear seat in my 69 had some home made hooks welded on to attach the seat back. They were nasty so I cut them off, but I don;t have a reference of the originals to fab up a new set. I also am not sure exactly how the two long slotted pieces on each bottom corner of the seat back attached the the wheel house.

Can anyone post up a few pictures to help me out?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Rob. Any chance you could get me a closeup of the upper and lower mounts? I can get a general idea from the pictures, but I can't see the bottom one.

No problem if you can't, I'll keep digging

I have some marks, but when I cut the piece of metal out underneath I lost it but I still have some of the marks, I'll see what I can get for you this evening, it will be late because I stay up until 5 or 6 in the morning.

If I get you measurements though they will be on the money, otherwise were both going to need them.:)

Kyle, heres this, let me know if its okay. http://www.1969supersport.com/rseatbrack.html

I'm not sure what else you want, I think the three brackets that hold the upper part of the back seat, and also pictures of the brackets on the seat itself, explain this for sure, and I should be able to get them tomorrow night.

Its easier for the bride to put them on my web site, anyway let me know.

Thanks Rob. Those are great, and really helped me make sure the seat bottom mounts are perfect. I'm still a little hazy in the exact look of the upper mount for the seat back. I have to fab some of those up so just a close up of what it looks like would be awesome. Also, the lower mounts on the left and right side of the seat back were completely missing on mine. I understand the tabs on the seat slide into something attached to the wheelhouse, but I'm not exactly sure. Any pics you have of those would be great.

Thanks again for the help!

Rob,

You have no idea how much I appreciate you going through all this trouble. I'm sure there were a million other things you could have been doing instead of helping me, so thanks a ton for the time and effort you put into this.

Many, many thanks!

It wasn't any trouble, I bought the car stripped down and I was wondering about the tabs and hooks myself, so we both learned something. Do you have everything you need? Oh, I told the bride I should have made up a build sheet and drew a rusted spring on it.

Theres others that will use those pictures, so its a good thing to have on file, you have a good one.
