I think my best was 516 HP and 662 Torque. I will post pic of dyno sheet after video editing. Going to be a long night editing.

Damn guys wish I coulda been there for the fun. Looks like Greg won the burnout eh'?:D

I have some video that we got of bad boy John smokin em at Mikes. I think he might be the winner for the weekend:hurray:

I will get it posted when I have some time

Thanks Jim

Jim got the honors for top horsepower of the day!:beers:

Yes Brian, The Special took the #1 spot from Doc Smokum's 4:00 + minute burnout with my special combo smoke and fire show at less than 2:00 minutes!:D:hurray:

Thanks Hoss and Mrs Hoss for the incredible Hoss-pitality!:beers::hurray:
And I love my "winner" t-shirt!:cool:

I put up 411 hp and 484 ft-lbs of torque. Not sure what exactly it means at the crank but the tire numbers are the ones that matter! According to 15% loss that puts me at 485 hp and 570 ft-lbs at crank. I need to do some distributor work as I am getting some pinging at lower rpm. Also am running a tad rich.

Dave put up an astounding 505 ft-lbs!

Congrats to Brett with his 411 to the ground:thumbsup: Wow Im still buzzing from it all. Its going to be hard to sleep tonight:noway:

Mark, no leaks at the tank, no leaks at the nitrous tank either.:D
I gotta admit when I saw flames in my mirror that was the first thing I thought of.

My dyno numbers weren't complete. The operator thought it might have been because of my lack of a groundstrap, I guess I'll be fixing that this week.
My motor is still hitting 5000 rpm hard and hanging up for a couple seconds and then powers to 6000 rpm before I lifted.

My A/F looked good, motor sounds good... just can't get it to pull cleanly to 6000.

I ran a kinda disappointing best of 276hp on motor and 343hp on the bottle with no torque numbers go to sketchy readings on the dyno. Both on and off the bottle has almost identical shaped graphs... Darryl agreed that I'm not getting all I should be out of this combo yet.

I wish everyone did not have to leave so early and could have sat around the fire and BSed and had a few :beers: but it was after 9:00 by the time we finished and that did make for a long day.

I hope everyone had a good time my wife and I love putting these events on :D

Since Darryl didn't win (or place) in the burn out contest, I think it's time for him to relinquish the FRYNTYR name since we now know the name was just compensating for something!!!!

I don't think you'd want to line up against Tammy, in the camaro, she'd likely put a whoop'n on the silver chevelle quite handily.

Well, she is the fastest driver of the Camaro:D

And you're right, I don't want to line up against her car unless you're driving!! (For the lurkers, I overheard something once and haven't forgotten it, and bring it up every chance I get, its a get even for the golf cart and the now famous window exit video:))

I think I can at least take the pink scooter:yes:

I'd kick your butt all over the track but my car weighs more because it has all its parts unlike some primer grey black hooded ones........that is of course if your car still has a motor that's not on a stand

Jun 9th, 08, 10:02 PM
The only reason Mr. Berg was not the hands down winner was because of the fire!!!
and that was for the most part caused by the excessive amounts of molten rubber that he (Mr. Berg) left on the box to ignite.

I am not taking from the winner he deserves his props but Daryl did an outstanding job as well

Without his new N50x15's leaving a molten pile of rubber for me to ignite I wouldn't have had a shot.:noway:
