My set of heater control/ac control levers are pretty loose and not quite opening and closing the blend door like it should, even after it has had new cables installed. There's a lot of slop in them so I was wondering if it would be easier to rebuild them because I've seen places that sell parts. Or if it would be easier to just find a whole new control unit. Opinions?

Different but related issue; Still warm air coming out of vents when Heater is 'Off' and the blend door is shut to both AC/Heater, Is there some kind of foam/insulation that needs to sit on the blend door? If so who offers it for sale? Any detailed info on this would be helpful, thanks!

All of the restoration companies have the heater/AC felt/seal/rubber parts to replace all the parts and pieces inside and outside of the boxes.
