Just curious if anyone here runs them? What do they sound like? Do they resonate like Flowmasters? Do they sound anything like a Flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber?

I run them. I've never run Flowmasters but personally I do not like flowmasters period. The Aero Chambers sound really great and mellow at idle and really mean when revving it/flooring it, but inside your car it is REALLY quiet, which is good. I went from 2 1/4'' pipe and cherrybombs to the same size pipe and these, and the amount of power increase I felt was amazing...it was very noticable..even when I had my 2-bbl.

Last fall I switched from flowtech terminators to hooker aerochambers on my truck. These mufflers sound awesome graemlins/thumbsup.gif And none of the resonation like flowmasters. They have a pretty unique and deep sound. I never got compliments with the terminators (even though I thought they sounded good), but I get compliments all the time with the aerochambers.

Little to no resonance, but I have tail pipes.
Very quiet in my F car with my cam above 2600.
A lot quieter than FM 2c at idle.

Almost conviced myself to use a 3" pair on the BB car.

I have the 3" ones, I had flomasters and I like the sound of the Aeros much better, they have a mellow sound compared too the 40's

Aero Chambers sound like Flowmasters but without that hollow tiny sound (if that makes sense). Rather they have a deeper "growl" to them. As for being quiet, I have about a foot of pipe after the collectors and then 2 1/2" aero chambers with turndowns pointed at each other. Its pretty damn loud... I was trying to take video if it a few days ago but it was inside my garage so all the noise was echoing everywhere and made the video sound all distorted. I'll have to take it outside and stand FAR away to get a decent sound sometime this week.

mine turn out toward wheels, they are loud, but the wife says they are not as loud as the flowmasters, I think it's just the tone that is different. Kinda like everclear and good old bottle of scotch "mello yello"

They have a nice sound but they are too loud if you dump them under the car. I ran them all the way back under the bumper.

I have 2.5" ones. I love em! There pretty tame at idle unless your in an enclosed area, then the sound bounces off everything and sounds sweet. They sound simalar to flowmasters without the distnictive ting like the other guy said, when you get on it is win these really sound awesome! Plus you you hold one up to the light you can see thru it! Its not a straight shot but I think you can see like 1/2 or 1/3 of the hole in the other side, they flow nice.
