Is this correct for a 70 454 LS6?
Suppossed extra bushing in the lower bracket for the smog Pump spacing?
What's it worth if correct?
Not that I want original brackets by any means but that Upper Alt bracket is pretty easily distinquished from repop without adjustment hole.

John,
That is a correct 70 BB bracket set. The only difference between this set and any other 70 BB set would be the bushing for as you mentioned that mounts the upper portion of the smog pump on solid lifter cars. Nice sets should bring $125- $150 ?

Looks like the correct bracket. The bushing was for smog. Some cars without smog had the bushing some did not. I left the bushing in my non smog motor. Dont forget the flat bracket on the back of the alternator. The bracket takes a small bolt in the center of alternator with a very flat head. I was never able to find the correct bolt so I used a hardware store bolt and ground down head, "barely visable" "by the way the small flat bracket gets painted black, the repros are plated".
Good money spent on this one John, the repop brackets stand out like a Red on Red Chevelle.

John, You may also consider putting a Quantum belt on, The repops are a better belt but they arent correct.

I have a Full set of Quantum belts
I'm really not concerned about having all correct brackets on this one obviously, and i'm seriously, just about done with spending money on it as well.
But your right, the Alt bracket really stands out as incorrect.
