I got these cast Holley valve covers with the fins and the 'Holley' print in the middle, same as the M/T ones...

My problem with them is that I haven't found a breather that would fit right through the breather grommet. I would always end up wrappign some tape around the neck of the breather, then jamming it in, and it'd last for about a month. I did this with three different breathers. I tried looking for a replacement grommet, but I can't find one. Is there a place that still sells the grommet? Are the grommets for these supposed to work with any general breather? Is mine just worn out and needs a replacement?

Thanks!

The holes in those valve covers have to be cut out with a hole saw when you buy them. Used ones may not be cut properly to fit a correct breather grommet. I had the same problem with a set of those on a 350. I ended up taking them off and putting stock ones back on. Check the HELP! section of a local auto parts store for assorted grommet sizes.
