I have a Little M block to use for a build up.

Do I have to make any modifications other than bore, hone and mill the decks.

I have been told of 1 that needed more oil drainback holes added due to a starvation prob.

I'm used to the using stock blocks,it thought would be best to ask.
Thank you

Thank you =
The tall deck ones that I have used did not have the oil drains drilled but all the standard deck ones like the little M should be fine.
Still doesn't hurt to check though,,, trust is a bad thing with parts from anyone :D

As for modifications, you need to line hone the block & check the lifter bores for size.
They come between .001 & .0005 under low limit in the mains.
Also look over the oil galleys real good, they have plugs needed in goofy places compared to a GM block.
Not brain surgery, just trace the oil system like you would with any block you are unfamiliar with ;)
BTW, Nice block I really like them over the World piece.

We have 2 Dart Little-M blocks with billet caps on both in the shop and as Mike said they do have to be line honed and decked and these two blocks I have to bore the lifter bores one is .875 the other will be .904 and on both blocks some of the the oil holes that require pipe plugs needed to be tap a little deeper even when using flush mount pipe plugs the holes on the rear of the block on the pan rail by the oil filter are the worst ones.
