When I fixed the broken rocker arm stud I pulled off the rocker arm and noticed that the contact area is about 1/8" towards the intake manifold side of my intake valves. The exhaust valve contact patch is centered. I read that if it's below center the rocker arm will push on the valve and wear the guide. I have roller rockers with a stud girdle if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like longer push rods are needed.
